Command Sergeant Major Jeffery D. Weaver
Command Sergeant Major, Eighth Army
CSM Jeffery Weaver is a native of Miamisburg, Ohio. CSM Weaver attended One Station Unit Training at Fort Benning, Georgia, to become an Infantryman.
CSM Weaver has served in every leadership position from Team Leader to Brigade Command Sergeant Major in light and airborne infantry units with his last assignment serving as the United States Army Japan Command Sergeant Major, Camp Zama, Japan. He has served in the four Light Infantry Divisions in the Army, the 82nd Airborne Division, the 25th Infantry Division, the 101st (Air Assault) Airborne Division, and the 10th Mountain Division. He has also served in the 4th Ranger Training Battalion. CSM Weaver has deployed several times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraq Freedom, operations in support of the U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) regionally aligned mission, Operation Resolute Support, and most recently in support of Pacific Pathways.
CSM Weaver has attended every Noncommissioned Officer Course that is required to be a Senior Noncommissioned Officer. He is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy Class 67. He has also been to Airborne School, Air Assault School, Sling Load Inspector Course, US Army Ranger School, Jumpmaster School, the Instructor’s Training Course, Reconnaissance Surveillance Leaders Course, Military Free Fall School, Pathfinder School, Master Resiliency Training Course, Military Advisor Training Academy (MATA) and Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC).

CSM Weaver is married and has three children.
