Command Sergeant Major Andrew N. Rehedul
CSM Andrew N. Rehedul entered the U. S. Army in 1993 after completing high school in Santa Cruz, Jamaica. He completed Basic Combat Training in Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Chemical Operations Specialist Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri.
His assignments include: Decontamination Specialist, 12th Chemical Company, 701st Main Support Battalion, Kitzingen Germany, and Fort Leonard wood Missouri; Squad Leader, Bravo Company, 94th Engineer Battalion, Vilseck Germany; Squad Leader 62nd Engineer Battalion Fort Hood Texas; Platoon Sergeant 12th Chemical Company, Kitzingen Germany.
From there he was assigned the Operation Sergeant for 3rd ACR, Fort Hood Texas. Platoon Sergeant 95th Chemical Company USARAK Alaska; Team Sergeant 25th Chemical Company Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland; First Sergeant 46th Chemical Company, 48th Chemical Brigade Fort Hood Texas; Operation Sergeant 20th Support Command Aberdeen Proving Ground Maryland; Division CBRN Sergeant Major 1AD Fort Bliss Texas; 23RD CBRN Battalion Command Sergeant Major, 2ID Camp Humphreys, South Korea.
His awards include: Meritorious Service Medal (5 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (6 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), Good Conduct Medal (8th), National Defense Service Ribbon with one bronze service star, Nato Medal , Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Drivers Badge, NCO Professional Development Ribbon (4), and the Overseas Ribbon (7th).
CSM Rehedul’s Combat and Operational deployments include: Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF I, February 2004-February 2005); Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF, October 2007-January 2009); Bosnia (1996-1997); Kosovo (2002-2003); JPAC, Vietnam (2011-2012).
His military and civilian education include: Primary Leadership Development Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, United States Sergeants Major Academy, Battle Staff NCO Course, Technical Escort Course, First Sergeant Course. Master Resiliency Course (MRT). He has a an Associate Degree in General Studies from Central Texas College, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College.
