Lieutenant Colonel Jennifer O. Hunter

Lieutenant Colonel Jennifer O. Hunter was born in Ogdensburg, New York. She was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Quartermaster branch from Syracuse University and entered active duty in 2002. She later transitioned to Air Defense Artillery during Officer Basic Course at Fort Bliss, TX. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Syracuse University, and a Masters of Business Administration from University of Phoenix.

Lieutenant Colonel Hunter’s operational assignments include Platoon Leader for Delta and Alpha Battery, 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery, Ansbach, Germany, Tactical Director for Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery, Ansbach, Germany, Administrative Officer-in-Charge for the Secretary of the Combined Joint Staff (SCJS) for Multi-National Corps – Iraq, Battery Commander for Delta Battery, 2nd Battalion, 43rd Air Defense Artillery, Fort Bliss, TX, Deputy Chief of Plans for 32d Army Air and Missile Defense Command, Fort Bliss, TX, Battalion Executive Officer and Operations Officer for 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery, Suwon, South Korea.

Lieutenant Colonel Hunter’s additional staff assignments include Air Defense Artillery Observer, Coach, Trainer (OC/T) for Operations Group Foxtrot, Mission Command Training Program, Fort Leavenworth, KS, and G3 Plans Officer for Joint Modernization Command, Fort Bliss, TX. Lieutenant Colonel Hunter is married to Major David M. Hunter, and they have one son, Xander.
