MSG Harris, Anthony L

MSG Harris, Anthony was born on 26 December, 1982 in Flint, MI. He was raised in North Ridgeville, OH. by his mother Martha Harris and step-father Paul Miller. In May 2002 after High School graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army; graduating Basic Training at Fort Benning GA, and Advance Individual Training at Fort Gordon GA.

MSG Harris’ assignments and positions consist of, Charlie Co., 82nd SIG BN Fort Bragg NC. as a V3 Line of Site Operator; HHC, 1-505th Paratrooper Infantry Regiment, Fort Bragg, NC. as a Tactical Satellite; Alpha Co., 67th SIG BN, Fort Gordon, GA. as a Mobile Subscriber Equipment operator; 45th Signal Detachment, 45th Special Troops Battalion , Schofield Barracks, HI. as a Joint Network Node (JNN) controller, Convoy Security Team’s communications Sergeant and Lead Gunner, and Command Post Node Team Chief; 8th Theater Sustainment Command, Fort Shafter, HI. as a Pacific Army Emergency Action Center operator; Division Signal Company, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY as a Network Operations controller (NETOPS), NETOPS Control Chief, and Tactical Communication Node (TCN) Platoon Sergeant; 1-2 Stryker Brigade, 23 BEB Charlie Company both as a TCN and Retransmission Platoon Sergeant; currently works for the United States Army Communication Information Systems Activity Pacific, 1st SIG BDE, Korea and the Senior Enlisted Advisor. His deployments consist of Operation Iraq Freedom (OIF) III-IV at Forward Observation Base (FOB) Volturno, Al Fallujah; OIF VI-VII at FOB Q-West; Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) VIII-IX at FOB Orgun-E; OEF XIV at Bagram Airfield; and Liberia, Africa in the fight for “Ebola”.

SFC Harris’s military and civilian education consist of Basic Training, Advance Individual Training (31R now 25Q), Airborne Training, Air Assault Training, Combat Life Saver, Hazardous Material Course, Warrior Leaders Course (Distinguished Honor graduate), Advance Leaders Course (Distinguished Honor graduate), Senior Leaders Course, COMSEC Account Managers Course, Combative Level 1, Security+ and A+ CompTia Certifications, Sexual Harassment Assault Response Process, Master Fitness Trainer, Bayonet Warrior Athletic Program Certified and is presently working on a Bachelor in Science of Photography.
