CSM Roddric E. Ellsberry
Command Sergeant Major Roddric E. Ellsberry is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and was born September 25, 1968. He graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1986. CSM Ellsberry entered the Army on 13 November 1986 and attended Basic Training, Advanced Individual Training and the United States Army Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia.
CSM Ellsberry's initial assignment was 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry, as an Infantry Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. His subsequent assignments include the 3rd Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, Fort Bragg, NC; 5-5 ADA, Korea; Montgomery, Alabama Recruiting Battalion; Charlie Battery 5-52 ADA Fort Bliss, Texas; Senior Military Instructor at Fort Valley State University, Fort Valley, Georgia; 1SG HHB 1-7 ADA, Fort Bragg, NC; Security Force Advisor Sergeant Major, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division and faculty advisor at The United States Army Sergeants Major Academy.
Throughout his 26-years of service, CSM Ellsberry has demonstrated his personal commitment to the Army, Soldiers and families. He has served in many Key enlisted leadership positions from Infantry Team Leader, Weapons Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, Battalion Operations Sergeant, Intelligence Sergeant, First Sergeant to his current position as the Command Sergeant Major of 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery Battalion, Suwon Air Base, Korea. His career has taken him through many CONUS and OCONUS Training assignments, two tour in Korea, he participated in numerous deployment operations, including, Just Cause in Panama, Desert Shield/Desert Storm in Southwest Asia, Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and supported various worldwide joint contingency operations.
His military education includes Basic Noncommissioned Officer's Course; Advanced Noncommissioned Officer's Course; First Sergeant's Course; Battle Staff Noncommissioned Officer's Course; Jump-master Course; Anti-Armor Leaders Course; Air Movement Operations Course; Hazardous Material Packaging and Handling Course; Equal Opportunity Course, the United States Army Recruiting School and the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy class 59. He is currently working on a Bachelor Degree in Business Management.

CSM Ellsberry has one child, Isaiah E. Ellsberry 16 Years old.
